Title: Never bought a Viggo/Bucket CD
Post by: DUFFATRON on January 24, 2008, 04:01:29 PM
I have never purchased a Buckethead/Viggo album, I know it\'s hard to recommend music for other people but are there any particular ones that I should check out.  I heard a lot of it is pretty light and ambient with a lot of sound effects thrown in.  I\'d appreciate any info or input anyone has any summaries of what each album is like

Thanks bots much appreciated

Is that the only good one? None of the others?

Currently playing Twilight Princess for the Wii. It rocks!!  ;D

As far as Viggo and Bucket goes, I\'d give Please Tomorrow a shot, it\'s most likely my favorite. Kind of mellow if memory serves me correctly. Then again, it\'s been a while since I listened to it now.

"Intelligence Failure" is something like a running gag at work for some time now. The speech samples always make us laugh - but of course it\'s actually too serious to make jokes about it...

yep Twilight Princess rocks, did you know the wii version is the only Zelda game to have link right-handed with his sword, he\'s left-handed in every other Zelda game.
That was the source for a lot of debate when the game was coming out but they finally decided that most people would use the motion remote with their right hand so they made him right-handed.

By the way I got please tomorrow, intelligence failure, and pandemonium from America a couple days ago.  Please tomorrow is very mellow and I\'d probably say thats my favorite thus far, pandemonium is pretty nice too, I haven\'t gotten all the way through intelligence failure yet

nice to see Viggo\'s role in Eastern Promises recognized.  that was a very good movie.  best fight scene!!!  wow!  he tactfully described his apprehension for the red carpet thing.  i couldn\'t even imagine that.  that would be torture!  anyhow, hooray for such a fine artist as Viggo!

Most of it is not instrumental music.  It is more like a piece of art - A creative expression - poetry.  It is interesting stuff, but not material I like to listen to over and over.  BH\'s presence on these Cds is minimal.

Viggo is a GREAT Actor.

You might want to try "This, That and The Other", which has a selection of stuff from out-of-print CDs. Although it\'s got some of the Pandemoniumfromamerica material on it, there\'s lots of other good stuff there. One of my favourite cuts is "Massage School", there\'s some good poetry, too.
