I\'m a longtime Bucket & Travis fan, and a longtime reader of this former, but I just started an account. Hello to all the other Binge Buddies out there!!
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the artwork on the regular pressed CD of Cyborg Slunks?? Not necessarily post pics of it (although I\'d love to see what it looks like!), but maybe just a description of the inner sleeve, cardtray, CD, and back cover -- I\'ve already seen the excellent cover art here on TDRS.... I was also wondering if it was done by psticks or Frankensuess.....
The only reason I ask is because I already have the limited edition, and I\'m going to be ordering the 5-CD Monolith set and Chicken Noodles II -- actually someone wants to order them for me for Christmas, and I wanted to know if I should ask them to order me the regular edition of Cyborg Slunks as well.......
I\'m just curious because I don\'t want them to spend an extra $16.50 just for the artwork of something I already have, but if its really sweet I don\'t think I can resist!!! I own well over 70 Buckethead releases (& thats counting multi-disc sets as one) and I do always love the artwork!!
I wish Travis would offer the regular edition for a lower price to those who bought the limited edition...... but I know thats asking a lot -- and he\'s already got enough to keep track of!!! Maybe for future instances of this..... (hey, I can dream, can\'t I??) I\'ve bought all the limited releases & this is really the first time I\'ve had this dilemma.....
Anyway, I\'ve already written way too much...... so if anyone that\'s already received CySlunks could throw me a detailed description (or pics) of the artwork, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You!!!
I think I can do better than that. I\'m going to find a way to offer the art work to those that bought the limited edtion. It will probably be in the form of a PDF. I\'m just mulling over how best to make it available. I should have more in a few days.
:o Wow Travis!! That sounds great.... you are truly fair and thoughtful to your fans and customers!! I\'ll be waiting to hear from you on that. Maybe I\'ll see if I can get that new Viggo Mortensen CD (which must have slipped under my radar :-[) as part of my Christmas gift order instead of Cyborg Slunks.... this way, the money will still be spent at TDRS....
Like I said, this is the first time I\'ve really had this issue with the limited editions..... although I\'d love to have a copy of that 13 sticker set that was used for the cover art reproduction on the ISOT non-limited box set!! Is there any way you could make that available to those who purchased the limited edition?? I\'d even pay a small fee for an actual set to be mailed -- maybe included in the mailing package of a future CD order!!
Well..... either way, thanks so much for the reply Travis -- and all the years of great music and service!!
thats really generous of you travis! not to be greedy, but could this be done with the DCK and Monolith also?
Thank you Travis!!!!!!!!
