I have had many emails from international customers still waiting for the pre-order of the last 3 Buckethead CD\'s. It seems the combined value of the new CDs triggers customs scrutiny and delays longer that what you may have experienced in the past. Many have told me their order has just arrived in the last couple of days. I have also sent 3 replacement orders, and all three, the original showed up within a day or two of me doing so. Remember, these were pre-orders and even if you ordered a month ago, the pre-orders were filled over a 5 day period at the first of the month by order of the invoice. For some that means there have only been 10 postal days since your order was sent. Custom delays can be up to 4 weeks in some cases, god knows why. In the more that 15 years I have been doing this I have only had 3 orders lost in the mail to international customers. It\'s much more likely that your order is in your customs office. I would allow at least till the end of the month before you should be concerned that your order is lost. I\'ll update the FAQ to expand the range of possible delivery times for international orders, at the moment it\'s between 5 days and 5 weeks. Please feel free to contact me if your concerned and I will check and make sure there wasn\'t a mistake processing your order at our end but more than likely your order is sitting in your local customs office awaiting processing.
A friendly tip from me to you, as a way to kind of "chip in" on this that Travis wrote:
If you order a whole bunch of cd\'s like this internationally, they will almost CERTAINLY get stuck in customs, 99.9% of the time they will. I ordered 2 cd\'s (yes, two) from TDRS once, and they got stuck in customs for TWO weeks! I think the total of those two were $30 or something like that, and I had to pay a customs fee on them (like $16 or something like that, the cost of one of the cd\'s that is..). So, I had to spend more money and wait a lot longer, and for what? Nothing, stupid customs.. that\'s what.
So, instead of pre-ordering all the new cd\'s in one order, order them separately instead!
"But won\'t that cost more in shipping?" you say. Yes, it will, it will cost you about $6 more if you order 3 cd\'s at the same time. HOWEVER, it will save you a LOT of money on customs fees and you won\'t have to wait 2-5 weeks extra for your music, as I guarantee they will get stuck in customs if you don\'t do this. So, as a friendly advice, do what I always do nowadays, order the cd\'s in separate orders and save both your money and your time. Why waste cash on customs fees anyway?
In 2 weeks time, I got my three cd\'s AND was able to get one of my cd\'s resent (Travis accidentally sent me a wrong one in one of the packages). It\'s definitely worth doing what I just advised you to do, trust me.
Five weeks and no Cds at home ...
Thomas, email me with your invoice number. Let me look into it. Anyone else that has ordered the pre-order and hasn\'t gotten it should email me with their invoice number. This is for international orders and these are probably all customs office delays but if your a domestic customer and haven\'t gotten your pre-order, let me know right away.
I have seen 5 week delays. Mostly the U.K., Germany and Italy. A lot of these were shipped as late as the 5th of Nov. So it hasn\'t been 4 weeks yet, but let me know and I can look into it.
I know that this coul happen, but every day when i wake upo my first think is to the cd....every day is an anxious........cd please arrive soon!!!!!!!!!!
Every time that i order from Travis the cd has arrive, in late cause i live in Italy but arrive....
Travis is also gret man with very human sense....that is difficult to find in peoplea today that think only to do damn money!
One time (if you remember Travis) he send to me two copies of Axiology insteas of Thanatopsis I & Axiology he replies to me saying"Sorry for the inconvenience, if you want you can keep the other copy of Axiology for yourself or give to a friend like a present, i\'ll send you the right copy soon..."after only one week i have the Thanatopsis I copy in my hand without buy or give money asnother time.....so Travis your a beautiful person.

Did you get my PM? You need to email me, it\'s hard to do this on the forum because I don\'t always pick up on the posts right away. Going on 6 weeks is a long time even for customs delays. Please email me at tdrs@tdrsmusic.com. We will need to go over your invoice and make sure your delivery address is correct before I send another set of CD\'s or I can offer you a refund if your tired of writing.
But please email me so I know I have two way communication with you.
Well I no sooner handed Thomas\'s replacement set to the postman when he emailed me to tell me his original order just arrived. This is getting pretty insane. I have had so many people in Europe tell me about 5 and now 6 week delays.
I keep sending replacement orders and so far all but one have had the original show up. I\'m pretty sure that one will show as well. Anybody in Europe have any idea what may be happening, is there a strike somewhere, Christmas delays or disgruntled customs workers? I hate to tell people in Europe "allow six weeks for delivery" but it\'s beginning to look like that.
At any rate, please let me know if after 4 weeks you haven\'t received an order or at any point you suspect somethings wrong and we can check the fundamentals like address and so on.
