$500 buy it now? is this guy serious?? recently a unopened NTT sold for $520. Used copies usually go between $200-$300. But it is christmas, maybe someone will pay more??
I have a copy of NTT and somehow my 1 1/2 year old got hold of it. I noticed her stepping on it when I heard the case crack. I freaked, ran over to her grabbed the cd a prayed she didn\'t damage it. The CD gods must have been looking out for me because my cd was still in pristine condition, only a slight bend to the artwork and the case is replaceable. I now keep it and all my BH cds on the top shelf in my closet :D.

Yes. The auction ended early..
Well Holy S**t! I stand corrected! :-X It must be nice to have money to burn. I\'ll never cease to be amazed by the prices things sell on ebay.
I am still alittle blown away by the price that cd sold for. He even rated it a 8.5, probably had a little scuff? I can\'t be the only person who thinks it\'s outrageous to pay $500 for a used cd.
Kudos to the seller!! does anyone know if he was correct in his description that "only 100 were made"? seems a little unlikely but I have been wrong before.
It\'s all relative.

the auction stated 1000 were pressed not 100, and that came from travis posted somewhere on this board. and as far as the price goes...you have to understand that that disc is nearly 12 years old. this was long before before buckethead joined GnR, hooked up with travis, and could fill a meduim size club. his popularity has drastically increased since its release and the new folks coming in will want that disc and some will see money as no object. by the way ill be using that 500 bucks for my new engl e530 preamp. and keep an eye out for SOTS.
Hey phartacus, I meant no disrespect when I posted my first comment. I always follow BH rare cd auctions on ebay. I had just never seen a used one sell that high. Congrats! I paid $125 for NTT and that was alot of money, the most I have ever spent on a cd (more than double). I can\'t believe how much they sell for now, it makes me think about listing my copy and using the $$ to buy a new surfboard. Who Knows maybe a few years down the line they will be worth $1000.
no offense taken. this disc is very special to me cause it came from buckethead himself via mailorder, and selling it will probably be one of my biggest regrets. but the tipping point for me was realizing buckethead has sold out.so if he can cash in on his fame why not me? im sure flames will come my way for saying that but i just feel he is gone too far recently for the dollar. i know folks gotta eat and what not. but a barrage of 13 disc sets with subpar music, and other releases in rapid fire succession along with really bad art auctioned off has really changed how i once felt about this great music. sorta like how i felt when i saw BB king sing about breakfast biscuits for burger king...it just cheapened his whole body of work.
I\'m workin a low paying 8-5 gig. I wish I could sell out.
