Post by: dewclaw on November 08, 2007, 07:27:14 PM
Bansheebot is influended by Slayer/Maiden/Malmsteen+ with no lyrics

Noodle is inspired by R2D2 playing avant garde

Cyborg is a mix between the two

10 a F*&%in 10!, it is very reminiscent of iron maiden at times with the quick drums and riffs on materilalizing the disembodied and ghost host.  i\'d compare it very closely to peppers ghost which is also rediculously amazing

I just got Bansheebot and Kevin\'s Noodle House in the mail today.  Thanks for the fast service Travis!!!!!

To answer your question...I think Bansheebot is a combination of the EMAC, soulful playing of Electric Tears and Colma, the variety of Pepper\'s Ghost and a sprinkling of the speed metal of Death Cube K.  Mix it all up and you get one of the tastiest wedges this side of Inbred Mountain.

There are fantastic shards through the entire CD and I really fell in love with the final cut "Sail on Soothsayer" (In Memory of Aunt Susie  1932-2007)  The soul and playing throughout this song will inspire and haunt you.  It drew up so many emotions for me.

I\'ll be spending some time with Kevin\'s Noodle House over the next few days and will give my impressions after that.

Lots of whammy, and lots of "noodling" going on in Kevin\'s Noodle House.
