Title: Vince Dicola Music
Post by: snafu00911 on April 05, 2007, 09:41:37 PM
I\'m looking  for the piano music of Vince Dicola\'s "Death of Optimus Prime"  I\'m getting ready for my senior recital and was wanting to play that piece for it.  Does anyone know where I can find a copy?  I have scoured the net trying to find where I could buy one but haven\'t had any luck yet.  Please help if you can...

Hello,

That piece appears on my "Artistic Transformations" CD, which is now available again here on this web site.  (If you\'re talking about sheet music, none exists.)
Hope this helps.

Vince

Hi Vince.

My name is Alex and I live in Europe the Netherlands, for a long time have been trying to buy your music but I can\'t get it anywhere. But you are like really high rated on my list of favourite musicians, so I can\'t own a credit card because of my income. By the way I heard some instrumental tracks you composed for transformer background music, like Gone fishing & Contest for leadership. Really fantastic music and I like the name of the album title very much, like did you base those songs on drum phrasing ? I\'ve been a composer also and to write a song you can chose, do I base the song on rythmn, harmony or melody. If you base a song on rythmn it starts with the drums & baseline, am I correct ? Same kinda procedure for basing a song on harmony or melody, it\'s just what you write first.

I\'ll check out a Dutch store and ask them if they could order some of your albums.
