hey travis..i was wondering..and others aswell..........................have you ever heard bucket flip some be-bop?.......i would loooooove and i\'m sure many many many others would love to hear you guys do some straight up futuristic be-bop song or songs in one of your collaborations..................i know this is only a dream but i feel like my life would be complete if i heard you guys play be-bop........i\'de love to hear a rework of ----night in tunisia.......if you know that tune.....anyway....my dreams never come true..but doesnt hurt to ask....................

thanx chris..but i have them all......and non of them show signs of any be-bop....actually i have all of buckethead recordings.......i havent heard him play any be-bop which i wish he did...i do have a recording of bucket playing a cool jazz bass walk on a dj-disk album......as far as be-bop is concerned....i heard him do something very very close on the first thanatopsis album.............
:52 - :56......(pyrrhic victory)...seconds you hear bucket break into a bebop flow.....man what luck my ears just had...not sure if he\'s comfy in that realm or he just cant play bebop......................i know that his thanatopsis projects to me are concidered his "serious" stuff....but i\'m kind of getting just a tad bit tired of his same old blues phrasings and his speed runs.....i think if he got into some bebop (cant stress that word enough)...it would open him up to new worlds ..................
hey that\'s just me....he\'s my favorite musician and i\'m just trying to push him forward..not attacking him..just something i feel like saying from the heart........
as far as technique and creative ideas is concerned...i think his first thanatopsis album is his best one.........
oh and he did some cool stuff on a "banyan\'\' album ...some nice "jazzy" stuff with a xylophone accompanyment and sax if i remember correctly..was very very sweet....one of his best stuff.......the song was called "sputnik".......check it out if you havent.....
