Hard to tell, not knowing anything about your situation. My impression of the Musician\'s Institute is they\'re a specialty/trade school, designed to get you the basics that\'s it. There are art schools that are the same way (Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale or Art Institute of (insert city here)). At any rate, there\'s nothing to fall back on or even much rounding out of the primary subject. My daughter is going to be college-bound in a couple of years and if she were interested in music, I\'d find a reputable University with an established professor in either composition or a specialist in whatever instrument she was into (preferably one I\'ve heard of) and make sure she got a minor in another subject. Gigging is a tough way to go and music programs are the first things to get cut in the school system, but combine music with literature, electronics, business or psychology and suddenly you have a lot more options. Just my opinion.
i dont believe in them to be honest.
