Title: giant robot ntt question
Post by: casey larcade on March 16, 2006, 09:09:02 PM
Is there any way to get a download or cdr copy of Giant Robot NTT? I thought that I found a web site with a down load of it and blueprints, but the links were bogus. I am sure everyone on this forum would like to at least have a copy. If I could get a copy I would certainly share it. Thanks!

Keep in mind that just because something is out of print does not mean it\'s legal to distribute freely. It\'s illogical to assume this as there\'s nothing "100% legal" about it. If you do download it, the least you could do is pay for what you have by contributing to TDRS artist support.

The fact that the art is hard to find, out of print, copied or bootlegged doesn\'t matter, because the artist is effectively put out of work and must seek another form of livelihood....If you love the art and you listen or look or experience the artist\'s creativity and it means something to you, here\'s where you can make a big difference. Seek out the artist and make some small payment in appreciation; at least pay the royalty that the artist might have gotten in days gone by.

Dude, I have paid for all 40 of the buckethead or buckethead related albums that I own. I think that instead of you worring about me getting this one out of print album for free, maybe you should worry about why these out of print albums are not rereleased for such good fans as we are. Besides, I am sure that if Big B. realized how much money I have already spent on his albums he would not mind me having a freebe. I would certainly do the same for my fans if the tables were turned. Do not misunderstand me, I respect the hell out of Buckethead not only for his talents, but for his tireless work ethic as well. I make a donation eveytime I buy a new cd of his. When I went to his show in Little Rock last week, I was the only fan there sporting a KFC bucket. That is fan support!! PS. The Secret Recipe DVD is totally DISEMBODIED! Thank you Buckethead for yet another glimpse into your obscure reality. Peace out!

Hey, Casey.

I own like 60 discs with Buckethead on and, I too, had to download this one.  I didn\'t feel too bad about it, as I lost a bid years back at 200+ dollars, used.

Someone posted the www.buckethead.tk site already to download.  I downloaded it from somewhere else but can\'t remember where.  Otherwise, there are cool fans at Buckethead\'s site that are always happy to B&P it for you.  I think Buckethead is totally cool with fans downloading this one, being that it probably can\'t be re-released with all the samples on it.  I am not sure, though.

I think it\'s a shame that this is Buckethead\'s defining work to me and is so hard to get a hold of.

I say, do whatever you have to, to get it, cause it is cool.  You will recognize a lot of the stuff from hearing it played on other albums.

" I think it\'s a shame that this is Buckethead\'s defining work to me and is so hard to get a hold of. "

well I wouldnt say that, if I had to go there  I would say the regular Giant Robot album is more his "defining work".....

PM me if you want a lossless copy, but I would prefer you donate to Travis & Buckethead if I copy it for you........
