It just appears to be a continuation of Pike 33. Pumpkin + Pikes = Pumpkin Pikes. The song titles reflect this as well.

Not to forget that there already was a song called "Pumpkin Pike"  :o

But, well, he released two albums and had a band under the same name ("Giant Robot") ;D

Well, actually, Giant Robot (NTT) is the self titled debut album by Giant Robot.

Giant Robot (Sony) was a solo record by Buckethead.

So, 1 album solo, 1 with the band.

Sorry to be such a stickler.
