It\'s a funny thing - ever since I got aquainted with the internet I\'ve done this dumb thing that probably everyone does from time to time... when I don\'t have much time at lunch and need a light mental exercise I type in names of people I know or I\'m interested... just to see what comes up.
Today\'s name of choice happened to be Burton Dickerson. I was hoping to see more of his art, but mostly what\'s on the internet seems to be courtesy of Travis and Lindy. HOWEVER - a funny thing is, there is a gallery in Austrailia called Dickerson, and they represent someone named Jane Burton. It turns out that Ms. Burton does lovely photography! So, I thought I\'d share...

Studets in some of the writing classes here at Grand Valley are assigned to research their own name on the internet and write humorous stories about all the Bob Fishers or Amanda Martins or Brianna Davises out there with personal or professional websites. Its funny.
that sounds like a fun exercise! names are curious things, we all feel like they are our own, even though we naturally share them with others... i think some of the rock star type baby names come from reaching (too far ?) for something singular.

This was a fun. I put in my name and came up with some intresting things. One even took me back to the guest book on the TDRS site. Got to read a ton of entries.
Apparently I\'m a "crack w****" with a big behind who steals other women\'s men. :o I wouldn\'t mind the big behind part as I\'m too skinny, IMO. But, hubby would be surprised at the other things. LOL! Very strange indeed! And I\'m also a doctor or lawyer or something! Hey, where\'s my checks? LOL!

Ahh but Chris don\'t you find it intresting that he too has his hand in music? When I did my search, I found it quite fascinating that most all those who share my name also share the same interests. Ok minus the porn star with the foot fetish, but I felt as though I had actually found me when I pulled up Photography & Gardening related web pages to name a few. Also not only did I find first and last name shared, but in some cases the same middle inital showed up as well. It must be in the numbers. hum?

i\'m a city near the atlanta airport... very hard to find women with my name, though as i understand it there are 21 of us in the US. someone mixed our credit up once... it was hard to believe my credit could get worse, but for a short period it did. they must be artists too. ;D

Yeah come to think of it if I used my middle name, I would get a whole nother line of people and maybe some I\'m related too... hum? indeed
