woo what a rollercoaster. im finally got back on line, and i have lots of things i\'ve foundout/done...ect.
I\'ve recently been listning to to some music shoved my way which i would never think twice about hearing or giving a listen. has anyone heard of Marceo Parker my friend lent me 3 of his albums, and im very happy i found out about this guy *didnt he play sax with p-funk?..the 3 albusm i got lent are..

Also i have been doing local gigs, "Disembodied" *A Tribute to Bucketheadland....goes down very well with te crowed :D i also dawn a kfc bucket too, just to give me that extra length when i need it. there will be some nunchuck/gig footage sometime soon..i\'ll let everyone know.

Maceo is a living legend....part of James Brown\'s late 60\'s band,therefor rndering him the most sampled sax player of all time.Not to mention his long stint with P-Funk,loads of solo work and albums w/ Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley,Bootsy\'s Rubber Band and work w/ Bill Laswell and many others.
The albums you mentioned are great but do your homewrok and go back a bit to get the real nasty burnin funk...I\'ve seen Maceo many times and he always delivers....one of the best musicians funk and jazz has to offer....

Have ya ever heard Axiom Funk "Funkcronomicon"? It\'s got a really good song called Sax Machine with Maceo. This album has so much good stuff on it. Buckethead\'s on this album too. ;)
Get hold of Maceo\'s live album "Life on Planet Groove" if you can - v.funky gig (also feats Fred Wesley (P-Funk & JB), Pee Wee Ellis (JB, Van Morrison) and Candy Dulfer.
Maceo\'s currently touring with Prince.
