Title: monitor buzz

hey travis is there any way you know of to get rid of that monitor buzz when your guitar is close to the monitor besides backing up or turning it off cus i am in a very craped area and it anoys me to hell when i am trying to recording and the constant buzzing, any tips would be apreacited thanks much  ;D

oh i meen a computer monitor not a speaker moniter sorry i left that out  :P

Only two ways I know of, back up, or get an LCD monitor. The problem your having is with a The picture tube in your monitor reacting with the magnetic pick-ups on you guitar.

use a noise gate, i get this alot when i record on my br-8 because the zip drive gives off the most wonderful buz, zoom have a ZNR as standard on most effects pedels.
