Here\'s the latest info on P.O. I just got off the phone with both the label who are arranging getting CD\'s to me and to the distributor who has them.
First, I know there is confusion about the release date. It was originally set for release today but was moved back to May 4. When that happened I called and asked that when the CD\'s were pressed that the manufacturer drop ship mine to me so I could offer them close to the original release date. They said they would. I then decided to offer them for pre-order, something many of you know I don\'t like to do cause, well cause this is the record business. Well I found out that the CD\'s were pressed and done and that the drop shipment was not made to me, they were shipped straight to the distributor. Why? Well this paper needed to be signed and wasn\'t and this person has to sign off on it, sorry. The same stuff that delayed the first release date. I don\'t know if I\'m getting the runaround because they really don\'t what me to get CD\'s out ahead of official distribution or it really is just a bureaucratic mess-up. At any rate, I should have gotten the CD\'s yesterday. I was told they would try to speed things up but now they have to be shipped from San Francisco instead of across town. I\'m not too happy with the situation at the moment, I\'m trying to get them to you folks that pre-ordered them ASAP, I hope you can hang in there just a little longer. I was told to call later today to see if we are getting anywhere, I\'ll update you as soon as I know.

Thanks for the heads-up. One thing -- is the POPULATION OVERRIDE offical release date APRIL 4th or MAY 4th? The opening page of your site says MAY 4th...

The latest as of 4/01, they tell me the CD\'s are shipping out to me today. If thats true we should be getting orders out by the first of next week.
That would not be a funny April Fools joke......
