man this is such great news!!! i cant seem to access it in the itunes store though...
the way i figured it out is open itunes and search for buckethead in the store and then find empty spaces and just click the buy button. kind of a pain but its worth it for some buckethead stuff.

Wow - awesome news!!! I\'m hoping that a physical release will come soon, I\'m assuming this release will be the same as when Captain EO\'s came out. I\'m gonna hold off on itunes for now, (my It\'s Alive hasn\'t arrived yet and I ordered it the first day :-[ ).
Listened to it 3 times now... absolutely amazing. I probably like this one better than It\'s Alive just because there\'s no repeats. Still think that Tonka is my favorite track though.

Get it now and then buy the CD when it comes out. This is one of his best albums in years and IMO is better than IA. Very crazy and yet very cohesive. This one definitely has the feel of a Bucketheadland ride. ;D
Can I buy this in the UK? I can only see a US link and it doesn\'t come up in the iTunes store.

I asked someone that knows. If it was just a notion I would have said so. No release date for the cd yet, it is TBD or to be determined. As of the moment the only way to get #2 is through itunes.

Just got the slab the other day and got a good listen to it... did anyone hear anything familiar in the song Empty Spaces. I havent done the research but I swear this song is a re-imagined song off of Cobra Strike 2 or its from Somewhere Over the Slaughterhouse. Its like I know where the song is going even though Its different... does anyone else hear it?
I also think that these releases are the closest we are going to get to a new Cobra Strike. Cobra Strike for me was Buckethead throwing a bunch of stuff together... songs that were disembodied from each other and these new pike recordings feel the same to me... even though there are a few songs that feel more complete than any thing off of Cobra Strike 1 or 2.

Yes, the second half of each riff is different. Buckethead plays that technique in a lot of songs. In Search of Inbred Mountain, Lotus Island, Sled Ride, Stretching Lighthouse, The Rising Sun, etc.
