Post by: ilikeheadcheese on February 17, 2011, 07:19:46 PM
yup.  Another new song from Buckethead.

This one is called "Crack the Sky" and it\'s dedicated to Blake Griffin of the Clippers ;D

I love it.  Thanks for this great present for the start of the great NBA All-Star Weekend. ;D ;D ;D

I don\'t do this very often but I admit I downloaded this and already burned it to cd. Does this count as illegal downloading, idk? Well I can\'t undo what has already been done so I decided this was a great opportunity to donate some money - I made a $5 donation to Big B and you can too - here is the link http://tdrsmusic.com/artist_support_page.html

I know it is hard times for many right now but we all enjoy the tributes that Buckethead puts on his website so why not show him how stoked we are by making a small donation - c\'mon bots I challenge everyone who listens to the new tune to donate a lil sumpin\'. Now get crackin\'!

Edit: I\'d love to see an album of just BH\'s tribute songs, even it was only available from the download store. Anyone else?

Yay Blake Griffin won.  ;D

In one of the best dunk contests in years, although Blake\'s final dunk was all show, the elbow on the rim was insane, and I gotta hand it to Ibaka and McGee, they all put on a show tonight.

I don\'t think there is anything wrong with downloading the tribute so long as you are just doing it for personal use.  He puts it up there for free for people to enjoy.

I\'ll second that. So long as nobody\'s selling the thing, right?

Just came in here to post how awesome the new song is. I\'ve been pretty busy the past few days, so opening up the homepage just a few minutes ago and seeing the new song put a huge smile on my face before I even heard it! And the solo is just amazing!

Great idea and I did the same thing!

Hopefully everyone has read and passed along the ideas that Travis has about supporting the Artists you enjoy in these days of digital downloaded copies.

He doesn\'t always have 13 songs. When he wants to have 13 songs, he has 13 songs. He won\'t make a full album with 13 songs and then tack one on.

I Know that he dont always have 13 songs but he did add shen chi to enter the chicken after it came out before, but still it dont matter It is possible he would do it for the regular release of the holiday cd.

forgotten trail ext version?

Shen Chi - the album previously had 11 songs. M&R - the Japanese Version was given a 13th track. A 14th track - I don\'t like that. If he wanted to give it 14 tracks, he would\'ve when he released it. He could extend the last track, being so short. Some people seem so hopefull for CtS to be on the new album. I\'d like him to save it for another album. Also one with unique songs.

Your right it would be a nice thing to have it on a new  cd like I posted ( tour only album)  several post ago which still becomes available through travis. Yes it would be sweet but it dont matter if we like 12 or 13 or 14 tracks on a album. I just want the music from him quanity on a cd dont bother me as long as it comes out one way or the other.

You said enter the chicken had 12 tracks and the import came with 13(shen chi) ?

My us copy only had eleven tracks until I got the one with shen chi which made it 12  tracks ?

Excuse me, I meant to say EtC originally had 11 songs, but Shen Chi made it 12. I was thinking of M&R when I said that.
