http://www.innerviews.com has a new interview with Bill up.
Of interest to some is the specific question regarding the future of Praxis. The answer being that the project is conceivably over according to Bill.
Of course, nothing is ever set in stone.
that\'s too bad. :-/ I hope they change their minds.
Based on a post at TK I read a few weeks ago titled "find another (or new) direction" and this interview it\'s seems like laswell is done working with big-b. It\'s a shame, I really dig Bill Laswells\' and buckets\' combined efforts.
Thanks for the info. Looks like Praxis has run its\' course, for the time being. Time will tell...
Who says they will not work together again?
Laswell and BH did perhaps dozens of albums together and the Praxis releases are just a small percentage of that.
I can\'t see any indication that this all has ended.
Obvious reasons for less collabs IMHO can be traced back to serious illness of both musicians in the past few years.
And of course the will not work as closely as in the 1990s anymore.
Or did I miss something?

as with most relationships, especially when the people are on opposite coasts, one would expect collaborations to ebb and flow. i don\'t know that Bill\'s spoken to Bucket much lately, but there\'s no reason to think that there isn\'t a possibility that they will do something together again eventually. the beauty of Bill\'s working methods is that it seems that there are really very few people he won\'t work with if circumstances dictate. it\'s usually a matter of scheduling (and maybe how the other person feels about working with Bill). that being said, don\'t necessarily hold your breath in the short-terms because Bill has a TON of stuff already in process right now.
