Post by: robotpie3000 on October 29, 2010, 07:57:15 AM

i\'ve always speculated if this is Buckethead when he was young. i mean the curly hair and the michael jackson glove are two clues to my suggestion.

Yes there is. I dunno what\'s the big friggin deal. If he decides to show his face, cool. If not, cool. Jeez what\'s wrong with y\'all? Infact I\'d be honored to see his face and know who this mad genius is behind the mask... Either way I\'m happy enjoying everything he does.

What he said....
Well, I\'d be careful if I was you when you get the binge tapes I sent you. His mask falls off in the cemetary section and there\'s a rehearsal where you catch a peek of him playing with no mask. Just saying. I\'m not trying to be a jerk, honestly. I do hope you\'ll enjoy them as much as I have :)

Well said, totally agree. Even if I did see who\'s behind the mask I\'d still be able to enjoy the Buckethead persona; he\'s spent so long and done so much as that \'character\' that it\'s kind of become it\'s own entity for me and I believe if I knew what Brian looked like I\'d still be able to separate the two and regard them as independent almost.

Of course, I respect Bucket\'s privacy so will not pursue any pics or footage of him unmasked, but, if I happened to come across it accidentally and/or he revealed who he was it really wouldn\'t bother me.

MOST Buckethead fans don\'t wanna know/see....

SOME Buckethead fans do.

I say to each their own, but don\'t rub it in each others faces.

If BH wanted us to know all about it, he\'d take off the mask (errr...no mask)....i mean, show his face.  But he doesn\'t...

We\'re all bots here...no need for angers. :P

The same thing used to happen when people mentioned his name, but now I have seen his name mentioned in publicity for his shows, so I guess that is no longer a big deal.

I personally have no real interest in knowing about the person behind the mask.  One of the great things about Buckethead to me is that there is no person, there is just the music.  I don\'t have to wonder about what kind of person is making the music I love.  I can just enjoy the music.  It is very clean that way and I like it clean.

The "What mask?" comment refers to an interview BH did with Kurt Loder or Guitar One magazine back in the day. It\'s an inside comment for those that have seen the interview.

Apologies if I offended anyone, that was not my intention. I just wanted to state how and why I don\'t feel threatened- that\'s how I\'ve interpretted it to be by some; I recognise on reflection that this could of been an error of judgement- by seeing Buckethead unmasked. There have been some good points projected in support of him remaining anonyomous/preference for this- the one about how this makes the music the sole focus and/or clean is particulary well realised. However, ultimately, personally, it wouldn\'t bother me to know what he looked like. Yet, I\'m more than happy to follow his will in that regard; if he wants to remain Buckethead, fine, if he chooses to reveal his identity, also fine- I\'m along for the ride!

^^^^ dude it\'s all good! Don\'t say you\'re sorry and don\'t let anyone on here make you second guess yourself. The important thing is you be yourself and ask or say whatever you want. And nevermind what they think,so who gives a rats ass! If you wanna say something, SAY IT BABY! Ohhhh yeah!
