Buckethead plays some of his Spinal Clock songs when he goes back on tour, that would make my day! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I doubt it. The experimentality and overdubs make it unlikely. What I mean is it sounds very spontaneous at times, which isn\'t the kind of stuff that is performable. I wouldn\'t be surprised to see the banjo on his next tour.
It would be cool for him to just perform songs from SOTP, ARDITR, and SBTS. He only played Lebron out of all 3 of those. Maybe he could make up a tour of those 3 albums + SC + the "Unreleased live songs". He could perform Skeleton Dance and Bayou by you.
I think it would be cool if he\'d play some banjo interpretations of guitar tracks he\'s written. It would be cool to hear stuff from the recent albums on banjo.
Loaf - I agree with you that many of the tunes will probably never see the light of day on stage but I feel that Bayou By You is totally doable.
Even without his banjo he could just play it on his clean channel with a bit of reverb and lots of palm muting. That would be killer to see and hear live. :)
Yeah, most of SC seems like improvised, totally off the cuff type of stuff with little in the way of composition. It\'s pretty much un-performable material, unless he did a little jam session "in the style of Spinal Clock" or something to that effect.
He has brought the banjo out before though, and may very well again.
Though its improv\'d I think if he really wanted to he could rehearse a song or two and make a go of it. Hell he already uses his Ipod as a backing track that fills in some of the harmony parts to songs. He could throw in some of the purcussive stuff on his Ipod.
Now, I doubt he will.
But if he wanted to, I think he could.
i dont care what he plays as long as he tours again with some band (eventually)
