Travis has left the building! Just before the pandemic I moved out of my Chatsworth studio of almost 40 years (more about the new studio ) and into my new home . Literally my home, I built a new studio at my house where I now pursue my own projects and those of my favorite collaborators.
Viggo and I started working on the soundtrack for “The Dead Don’t Hurt” while he was working on the script. We had music recorded before any filming took place. Both Viggo and I played, edited and kicked around ideas. Once we had something concrete I brought in my long time friends and collaborators Scarlet Rivera and Cameron Stone. With their parts recorded, Viggo and I continued to play and edit the project as the production on the movie progressed. At this writing, today is May 31 2024, the movies opens world wide in theaters. We are both very pleased with the outcome.
On New Years day 2024 Alix and I had a conversation with Mike Watt on his “Watt from Pedro Show”. We were there to talk about the re-release of our collaboration record “Running After Deer”. Apparently Mike was unaware the record he was playing was actually recorded much earlier. He asked, “so just when did you make this record?” We kind of both went ah…what, 10 or 12 years ago. Mike said “well then isn’t it about time you made another one?” We both agreed and as soon as we got off air started planning the new record. Six months later it’s almost finished and we look forward to showing it off.
I have been working with my long time friends and collaborators, Vince DiCola and Doane Perry for 30 years.
Currently we are working on Vince and Doane's project here with the legendary bassist Lee Sklar.
Also on the same project as above, the equally legendary guitarist Tommy Emmanuel works with Doane.
Currently in progress a project with the members of Dead Rock West. Cindy Wasserman, Frank Lee Drennen, DJ Bonebrake and David Carpenter. This one has been a lot of fun.
My old friend and frequent collaborater Scarlet River was in to do a video shoot for the Live Peace Summit.
My longtime friend and frequent collaborater Tony Brock has been working with the band "Call Me Cannon" on a record.

Chris Gerolmo and G.O.D. have been working here for the last 2 years on a video album. Most of the videos are on their Youtube channel. Check it out you can see the results of the upgraded video capabilities of the new studio.
